Itinerary check (旅程の点検)
This page stays up because the list below is genuinely what goes wrong, and it is worth reading whether or not you ever talk to us.
点検内容 What we check
The small facts that decide a trip
- Closing days. The restaurant whose 定休日 (weekly closing day) is listed only in Japanese, on the very day your plan visits it.
- Current transport. Rural bus lines are trimmed or made seasonal every April. English sources can lag by a year.
- Reservation requirements. The temple or restaurant that must be booked ahead, sometimes by telephone only.
- Terrain and transfers. The “20-minute walk” with a mountain in it. The 7-minute connection between platforms 12 minutes apart.
- House rules that matter to you. Tattoo policies at onsen, private-bath (貸切) availability, last-order times.
今のかたち How this happens now
In the call, not in a document
Bring the plan — a spreadsheet, a saved-places list, a paragraph in an email, it makes no difference. Anna goes through it with you and tells you which lines are confirmed, which are wrong, and which are risky, along with what to do about each one. Where something needs reserving, you will hear what to reserve, how far ahead, and by which method.
Many plans get “this is good — go,” and that is a perfectly good use of the fifty minutes. Afterwards the corrections arrive in writing, so nothing depends on what you managed to scribble down.
What still isn't included: making the reservations themselves. That is the arrangements service, and if your plan turns out to need it, we will say so plainly.
